Kanye West und The Strokes am Sonntag, Arcade Fire am Samstag, Kings of Leon am Freitag und zirka 180 weitere Bands: das gibt’s beim Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2011!
Das Coachella 2011 findet vom 15.-17.April in INDIO, Kalifornien statt.
The Black Keys, Interpol, The Chemical Brothers, Caifanes, Robyn, Animal Collective, Mumford & Sons, Boys Noize, Bright Eyes, Fedde le Grand, Paul Van Dyk, Sven Väth, Duran Duran, The National, PJ Harvey, Death From Above 1979, Erick Morillo, Erykah Badu und viele weitere Acts, die auf manch anderem Festival selbst Headliner wären, sind ebenfalls mit dabei.
Zum zehnten Jubiläum des Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festivals im Jahre 2009 spielten etwa 130 Bands. Mit dabei waren u. a. Paul McCartney, The Ting Tings, Billy Talent, James Morrison, The Killers, Joss Stone, Groove Armada, Public Enemy sowie The Cure.
In den anderen Festivaljahren konnten die Veranstalter Bands wie Tool, Morrissey, Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam, Björk, Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys oder Iggy Pop begrüßen.
