Roskilde mit Muse & Arcade Fire

Für das Roskilde Festival wurden heute die beiden Alternative Rock Bands Muse (UK) und Arcade Fire (CAN) bestätigt. Die Veranstalter dazu:

ARCADE FIRE With a mix of early Roxy Music, David Bowie and Talking Heads, ARCADE FIRE (CAN) have been universally praised. With their latest album Neon Bible just released, Arcade Fire are ready to show their audience why the Canadians in a matter of no time have developed from an upcoming act to trendsetting stars.

MUSE (UK) keep the most pompous virtues of British rock alive with their ambitious, futuristic rock opera and wind-swept guitar solos. The band is loved by fans all over the world – perhaps especially because the band, consisting of only three members, finds its very own plane somewhere between Radiohead’s dark science fiction and Queen’s grand symphonies.
